Treble Looming Large

FA Premier league, FA cup , Champions League. Winning any of them in a season is considered a success for any club. Now Manchester United are in contention for all these trophies with 15 matches to go. But its been 4 years since ManUtd lifted the premiership. So as Manc my first priority would be the premiership and once again stamp the supremacy of ManUtd . Every thing extra is a bonus.

premiership: with 8 more games to go and just 18 points max away from title. its realistic that the title is almost ours at this point and at the current form. I disagree to the fact that Chelsea has lost some players due to injuries and thats why they were lagging.They had a big world class squad and the fact that they played essien inplace of ferriera was down to the fact that they have abundant midfielders and ferriera was playing awfully. still thr was carvalho,diarra,cole,bridge.they could have adjusted them from game to game. So its foolish to argue that way. ManUtd played better football than chelsea for more minutes this season. Its because of the squad rotation policy of SAF they could do so well and all the fringe players chipped in when given an oppurtunity. We had 16 different goal scorers this season!!!!! Adding to this Christiano has been too good.
For me Christiano = Brazilian Samba skills + European heart , which makes him a complete player. He can definetely surpass all the superstars in next few seasons.

FA cup: We will definetly go to the new Wembley and sing 'Que Sera Sera' ,with watford in the semis. I would have liked to see Foster play against us. its because of him watford are in the semis.this should give some reprive to the premiership strugglers. I loved the way that Aidy Boothroyd carried his team this season. He is a great manager in my opinion given his meagre resources. He has been a true professional one unlike the 'Special One' who fought with his owner during injury to the England Captain!! ;P

Champions league : Its down to fact that how we play our away games. Our defence should perform exceedingly well and its all on Roon,Ron and veterans like Gazza,giggsy,scholesy and no injuries to these is what is required!!

I would personally be more than happy with the premiership this season any thing more is a suplus. But we still have the oppurtunity to repeat 1998-99 season.

Manchester United.
The first thing that comes to mind is the most successful English club in last 10 years. Yes,thats true but for me Manchester United is always a legend , that it gives the sight of" fighting back from trouble" as it did after 1958 munich incident. Three years no silverware for United in the premiership. but does it change the opinion of a true Manc? definetely no! For me club is more important than team.Teams win silverware,club wins the hearts. This season United is going to win the premiership and even more silverware and it is coming close. With the correct mix of youth and experience United is cruising past every opposition. the likes of rooney,ronaldo,saha and veterans like giggs,neville,scholes are turning it around for united. I feel carrick has come good for united and he gives the same value to his team as ballack do for Chelsea. In defence Vidic is fantastic. I get the feeling that he is in league with cannavaro. but one kid stands top among all its Christiano Ronaldo. He handled the pressure well in away games and has single handedly won games for United.Sir Alex as usual rotated the team brilliantly. with 10 games to go and 9 points clear at the top, we have title one-on-one with only time in between. :)
